LPWANs

Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) is capable of connecting different sensors and is designed to maintain the large-scale IoT networks sprawling over commercial and industrial campuses.

CELLULAR (3G, 4G, 5G)

Cellular networks are suitable in specific use cases. For instance, fleet management or connected cars in logistics and transportation.

ZIGBEE

Being a low-power and short range wireless standard (IEEE 802.15.4), Zigbee is usually applied in mesh topology for extending the coverage by relaying sensor data over multiple sensor nodes

BLUETOOTH and BLE

BLE enabled devices are mainly incorporated into smart phones or smart home devices.

Wi-Fi

The latest generation of Wi-Fi 6 provides significantly expanded network bandwidth for improving data throughput.

RFID

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is known to contribute to the primary uprising in logistics and retail.
